Accountant

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
• Perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting for clients.
• Handle general accounting functions such as journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end accrual preparation.
• Develop and implement improved accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform other accounting and general office duties as required.
