working prototype. You will design analog and digital circuits, build and test boards, and
write the embedded firmware that drives them. You should be comfortable using AI tools in
your workflow for research, coding, test planning, and documentation, with sensible
verification.
Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and validate analog and digital circuits, including power, signal
- Create schematics and PCB layouts, select components, and maintain design files,
- Bring up boards in the lab, plan and run test procedures, and debug using common
- Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers, integrating peripherals over
- Build quick proofs of concept with development boards when that speeds iteration
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams on enclosures, harnessing, and
- Apply practical reliability and safety practices, and support basic EMC considerations
- Use AI tools to assist with parts research, code review, test plans, and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (4-year) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely
- Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design and debugging
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
- Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout, (KiCad preferred but not
- Comfortable with bring-up workflows and lab debugging
- Able to research new parts and methods and turn them into working prototypes
- Experience with 3D printing, simple fixtures, and rapid prototyping is a plus
- Audio electronics, motion control, or sensor interfacing experience is a plus
- Fluency in English. Mandarin is a plus but not required
Engineer should have access to a basic home bench suitable for electronics design,
assembly, and debugging. Examples include soldering tools, measurement devices, etc.
