Meta AdsCompetent with data analysis and spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), including the use of pivot tables and common formulas (lookups, sumif/s, basic operations)Who you will be working withReporting into Performance Marketing Lead (Sydney)Working alongside the Senior Performance Marketing Manager (Manila) and Marketing Consultant (remote).Key relationships:Part of the Paid Acquisition teamProject-based work with the SEO teamMarketplace growth team including CRO lead, developers, product manager, designer and data team.Broader marketing teamTechnical SkillsGoogle Ads (including Editor) & Microsoft AdsBasic use of Google Analytics 4 or equivalent other analytics platformIntermediate Excel/Google Sheet skillsPrior or current experience with Tableau or Looker (preferred)Ability to communicate technical SEM/PCC results and trends in simple termsResponsibilitiesHands-on management and optimisation of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Bing) accountsRoutine reporting and light commentaryWork with the Senior Performance Manager to support with execution and reporting on SEM campaignsLight admin: Manage monthly invoicing and record-keepingKeep up to date with paid search best practices and strategies, and how hipages can trial new features or tacticsContribute to other team projects and initiatives remaining flexibleAssist requests from the wider business including data, insights, or advertising support for new launchesCollaborate with key SEM vendors on recommendations or troubleshootingAssist the Senior Performance Specialist with end-of campaign/test documentationSuccess ProfileIn the first 2 months, success looks like:Understand how SEM is used at hipages to drive both sides of the consumer-tradie marketplaceDay to day management of SEM campaigns, spending to pre-planned budgets.Develop a draft optimisation plan (as a minimum) to ensure ad investment and conversions are on targetIn the following 3-6 months, success looks like:Be autonomous with routine Account management, optimisation and reportingFinalise and be well into the aforementioned optimisation planBe involved in at least 1-2 Google Ads tests and documented the outcomeBe comfortable reporting on results and why the results are they way they areUpskilled in at least one other ad platform beyond Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing)Join the A-Team and experience the A-Life!
