- Prospecting: Identify potential local businesses for sponsorship opportunities based on the host school's location, focusing on industries like dental, real estate, insurance, and more.
- Outbound Communication: Conduct outbound calls and emails to decision-makers at targeted businesses, presenting the fundraising campaign's goals and the advantages of becoming a sponsor.
- Email Correspondence: Follow up with contacts via email after initial calls, providing further details about the campaign and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Value Proposition: Clearly explain the benefits and value of sponsorship, customizing presentations to meet the specific needs and interests of each business.
- Lead Nurturing: Implement a systematic follow-up strategy to cultivate relationships with potential sponsors, ensuring continuous engagement.
- Data Management: Accurately record all interactions, feedback, and progress in a Google Sheet for effective lead tracking and management.
- Previous experience in sales, outbound calling, or business development, preferably in a B2B setting.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information and persuade decision-makers.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with Google Sheets or similar data management tools for tracking interactions and outcomes.
- A self-starter with a high degree of motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of or experience in the targeted industries for sponsorship is highly desirable.
