As a Duty Manager for GSE Maintenance Operations , you will lead and oversee a team of maintenance supervisors and their teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance of all ground support equipment (GSE) and vehicles. This role ensures operational reliability by enforcing standards, optimizing resources, and supporting the day-to-day performance of maintenance teams. What You Will Do Leadership and Supervision Oversee and support maintenance supervisors in leading their teams to meet operational goals. Provide mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to supervisors. Ensure clear task delegation, defined responsibilities, and timely completion of maintenance activities. Act as a point of escalation for complex technical or operational issues. Compliance and Standards Enforcement Promote adherence to Quality, Safety, Security, and Customer Service standards in line with regulations and company policies. Monitor and enforce safety practices to maintain a hazard-free work environment. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Maintenance Scheduling and Planning Assist in developing and monitoring preventive maintenance schedules for all GSE and vehicles. Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize tasks, balance workloads, and minimize downtime. Ensure efficient work plans are implemented to maximize productivity and equipment availability. Asset and Inventory Management Oversee and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials to support continuous operations. Collaborate with supervisors to monitor stock levels and avoid shortages. Ensure adherence to procurement and inventory control procedures. Evaluate workshop assets and recommend improvements for efficiency and service delivery. Other Duties Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the GSE Group Manager or senior leadership. An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications: Educational Background & Certifications Graduate of Automotive Engineering/Technology, Vocational, TESDA, or related course With NC I, NC II, and NC III in Automotive Servicing Experience At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance environment Minimum of 2 years as a maintenance foreman or lead technician, preferably in mechanical/automotive operations Preferred Attributes Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledgeable in GSE maintenance, automotive systems, and safety standards Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills Service and goal-oriented with a proactive mindset Ready to lead and drive operational reliability in GSE Maintenance Apply now and be part of a future-forward aviation support team.
