We are seeking a Operations Manager – Design Services to lead and manage our Network Planning Team. You'll oversee project resourcing, team performance, and budget management, while driving strategic initiatives that improve efficiency and align with company goals. This role is both operational and people-focused, requiring someone who can lead through influence, coach and mentor leaders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality design outputs.What are you expected to do?Job Function 1: People Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage 3–6 Design Team Leads of varying seniority levels.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while managing onboarding and continuous training programs.
- Conduct performance assessments, provide regular feedback, and take appropriate performance management actions.
- Manage workload distribution and ensure quality outputs for all stakeholder projects.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture across dispersed geographies.
- Establish and oversee project resourcing processes to ensure projects are adequately staffed.
- Assign tasks based on team members' strengths and expertise.
- Build business cases for team growth, run recruitment activities, and oversee effective onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement quality control measures.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with short- and long-term organizational goals.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, reporting on progress and outcomes.
- Lead change initiatives and ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
- Partner with Finance and Senior Leadership to forecast annual budgets, including promotions, new hires, events, and travel.
- Ensure the Network Planning Team operates within approved budgets and proactively manage expenses.
- Regional Influence with Global Impact – Lead teams across the Philippines and Vietnam while connecting with a global business community.
- Balance of Strategy & Execution – Drive big-picture initiatives while staying hands-on with operational excellence.

- You have at least 5 years of Operations Management experience.
- You understand Telecommunications FTTx network design and engineering.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and can engage diverse stakeholders.
- You thrive in collaborative environments, working across departments to align goals and deliver results.
- You are analytical and data-driven, capable of identifying trends and making informed decisions.
- You can manage workforce challenges related to scheduling, development, and performance.
- You are highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- You are proficient in workforce management software and relevant technologies.
- You have experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- You have proven experience in workforce management and leadership roles, particularly in managing dispersed teams.
- You have advanced experience in strategic planning and operational efficiency projects.
- You bring a track record of successful change management initiatives.
- You have experience in budget forecasting and financial management at scale.

What happens after you submit your application?The whole process takes around 4 weeks:
- There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
