The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting the accounting function within CORE Stagwell, the Corporate entity that provides Shared Services to Brands in the Stagwell network. Shared Services provides services to Brands for Accounting, Financial Operations (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll), Business Applications, IT and Real Estate. The ideal candidate will assist the CORE Stagwell Controller and compile management reporting functions for CORE Stagwell within the US Accounting & Reporting while supporting various corporate and business initiatives. This person will report to the CORE Stagwell Controller. Responsibilities: Responsible for the Monthly Financial Statements for assigned entities Fully own month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, reporting requirements, and variance analysis: Cash Reconciliation Credit Card reconciliations and recording of expenses AP, AR, etc. subledger reconciliations Record fixed asset depreciation, intangibles amortization, etc. entries Misc. month end accruals Reconciliation of Intercompany activity with other Stagwell subsidiaries Work with the central AP, AR, and Billing Teams throughout the month to achieve desired outcomes for month end close Upload approved trial balances and ancillary reports to Stagwell's reporting tool, Hyperion. Assist in local tax compliance Assist in SOX compliance by maintaining strong accounting controls and practices over financial reporting Assist in the Internal/External Audits: prepare schedules as assigned and conduct audit research and answer questions Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance 5 years of experience in month end close process catering global entities APAC, EMEA, US regions. 2-3 years of Maconomy (or competitor) experience and proficiency on all Maconomy modules - preferred but not required. Self-starter who can accomplish assigned tasks with little supervision Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to analyze data Proficiency in MS Excel Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of team members Proactive, reliable, and responsible with an attention to detail and accuracy Flexible and a great team player Hyperion/SAP power BI/Essbase experience preferred but not required Large holding company/subsidiary in agency environment experience a plus *Should be amenable to a hybrid setup (3x onsite, 2x WFH) - Ortigas/ Taguig on a Nightshift schedule.
