JOB TITLE: Backend Developer (Power Platform & Azure) LOCATION: Hybrid, Ayala WORK HOURS: Shifting Summary We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse with Azure PaaS services such as App Services and Functions. This role requires a strong foundation in backend engineering, data management, and automation workflows, with optional exposure to infrastructure automation tools like Ansible . Responsibilities Design & Development : Build, test, and deploy backend services and APIs using .NET (C#) and Azure PaaS components. Power Platform Integration : Develop and maintain solutions leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse for business process automation and data workflows. Database Management : Design and optimize SQL databases , write complex queries, and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance. Cloud Engineering : Implement scalable and resilient applications on Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and related PaaS offerings . Automation & Optimization : Streamline backend workflows and enhance application performance; optionally leverage Ansible for deployment and configuration management. Collaboration : Work closely with frontend developers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Best Practices : Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability by applying software engineering best practices and conducting regular code reviews. Support & Maintenance : Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and production support for deployed solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field , or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Backend Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role . Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) for backend development. Solid experience with SQL databases (design, queries, optimization). Hands-on expertise with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse). Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Azure PaaS (App Services, Functions, etc.) . Familiarity with API development, integration, and authentication (REST, OAuth, etc.). Knowledge of cloud security best practices and application performance optimization. Optional: Experience with Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools. Preferred Skills Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer, Azure Developer Associate ) are a plus. Experience in CI/CD pipelines , DevOps practices, and automated testing.
