KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the project in terms of planning, oversighting and delivery of all estimating outputs.Study civil, structural, architectural (if any), MEP (if any) and all engineering drawings and specifications.Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities outlining all individual components required to construct the project.Preparation of independent cost estimates (preliminary and detailed) to the required levels of accuracyLiaise directly with design leads (civil, structural, architectural (if any) and MEPFS (if any) engineering works) in the verification of designs and the preparation of quantity take-offs from drawings.Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required for compiling materials and construction costs.Prepare cost comparisons for alternatives design schemes to assess viability of options.
