What We Offer Competitive Salary Packages Professional Development Opportunities Hybrid Work Setup Equipment Provided Day 1 HMO Life Insurance POSITION OVERVIEW The Core Banking Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering seamless end-to-end implementation and transformation of core banking solutions within a FinTech environment. The role is responsible for defining project scope, planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with internal standards and client requirements. This position will lead cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of core banking systems, while managing stakeholder relationships, mitigating risk, and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle. WHAT WILL YOU DO Core Banking Implementation Understands strategic objectives and aligns core banking implementation plans accordingly. Prepares project charters and Statements of Work (SOW) with oversight from the Head of Operations and/or Business Development. Leads the planning and execution of project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinates deliverables across departments, including Product, Tech, Compliance, Risk, and Support. Tracks and reports on key KPIs such as project timelines, migration success rates, transaction performance, and client onboarding milestones. Maintains detailed documentation of project decisions, risks, and communications. Internal Collaborates with Product, Technology, Operations, and Customer Success teams to align implementation frameworks with company objectives. Ensures all internal and external documentation is aligned with up-to-date operational workflows. Escalates and resolves implementation bottlenecks and cross-functional coordination issues. Partners with QA and UAT teams to validate system readiness and ensure successful core banking transitions. Manages third-party vendors or integrators supporting core banking deployments when applicable. Time Allocation / Prioritization Prioritizes onboarding and migration tasks based on client urgency, readiness, and strategic alignment. Oversees multiple concurrent implementation projects, balancing timelines and resources effectively. Maintains visibility over post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition into operations. Other Tasks Builds strong domain knowledge in core banking systems, digital banking modules, and financial product lifecycle management. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when project deadlines require. WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE Professional Background Minimum of 2+ years' experience in project management, preferably within core banking, digital banking or FinTech environments Demonstrated success leading end-to-end software implementation or migration projects in financial services or technology sectors Strong familiarity with core banking platforms (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube, Mambu) Proficient in project-management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project and Trello Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or equivalent project-management certification preferred Experience coordinating with cross-functional technical teams in fast-paced settings Educational Background Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
