This role partners closely with Operations, Finance Ops, Customer Support, Recovery, Product, and Tech to translate business problems into structured analyses, actionable insights, and scalable solutions.The role sits at the intersection of business analysis, data analysis, and operational strategy, the role requires strong analytical rigor, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. The analyst is expected to own data logic end-to-end—from problem framing to insight delivery—while ensuring outputs are practical, accurate, and aligned with business realities.Business & Operational Analysis
  • Partner with functional teams to identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and performance issues.
  • Translate operational questions into clear analytical problem statements, hypotheses, and measurable success criteria.
  • Document current-state processes and define future-state improvements, including dependencies, risks, and operational constraints.
  • Support the definition of business requirements for dashboards, reports, automations, and process changes.
Data Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Analyze operational, financial, and customer data to identify trends, drivers, and improvement opportunities.
  • Build structured analyses with clearly defined assumptions and methodologies.
  • Validate data accuracy and reconcile discrepancies across multiple sources.
  • Convert analysis into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
Reporting & Performance Support
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in collaboration with stakeholders and COO.
  • Support KPI measurement and tracking by providing analytical inputs, reporting structures, and data validation.
  • Analyze performance trends, variances, and drivers to support leadership reviews and decision-making.
  • Prepare data narratives, deep-dive analyses, and ad-hoc insights for performance discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product and Tech teams to clarify data requirements, validate outputs, and support implementation of data-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance Ops, Customer Support, and Recovery to ensure alignment on metrics, definitions, and reporting logic.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding and realistic expectations.
Continuous Improvement & Enablement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, or standardization based on data insights.
  • Support ad-hoc deep-dive analyses and time-sensitive requests from senior leadership.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and improvement of OPEX analytical standards and practices.
Qualifications: Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, operations analytics, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
  • Experience working in fintech, lending, or operations-heavy environments (e.g., customer support, recovery, finance operations).
  • Strong SQL and advanced spreadsheet skills for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools and working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., LookerStudio, Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of KPI measurement, reporting logic, and data-driven performance analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to explain analyses to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exposure to regulated or data-sensitive operational environments.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving Product or Technology teams.
  • Familiarity with process documentation, pilot analysis, or impact measurement.
