Role Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role will focus primarily on managing accounts receivable and payable tasks and providing general accounting support to ensure the financial operations of the company run smoothly and efficiently. WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (12:00 AM - 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays POSITION TYPE: Full Time WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote Essential Functions Perform the following accounts payable processing tasks: Ensure timely receipt, review, and processing of invoices Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy Code and enter invoices into the accounting system with correct general ledger account allocation Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate vendor records and information Perform the following expense management responsibilities: Assist in the creation and updating of company training resources Track and reconcile employee expense reports Ensure adherence to company expense policies and procedures Review and verify expense receipts for accuracy and completeness Perform the following general accounting support tasks: Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks Utilize various software programs including Yardi and Rent Manager Perform the following tasks related to communication and collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounts payable inquiries and issues Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders Qualifications A Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience in low-income housing or property management is a plus A minimum of 2 years of experience using Yardi Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Show more Show less
