Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our internal finance team remotely. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for at least three portfolio companies simultaneously. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, experience across multiple industries, and familiarity with NetSuite ERP.Key Responsibilities· Maintain full-cycle accounting for multiple portfolio companies (manufacturing, distribution, and real estate).· Record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.· Manage AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.· Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.· Support audits and tax preparation processes in coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.· Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.· Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.· Utilize NetSuite to process and manage financial data across client entities.· Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracyRequirements:· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).· Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-client or multi-entity environment.· Preferably with experience in construction pay applications and bank draws.· Real estate experience is a must.· Industry experience in manufacturing and distribution strongly preferred.· Proficiency with NetSuite ERP required.· Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.· High level of integrity and attention to detail.Preferred Skills· Experience working in a private equity or investment firm environment.· Familiarity with consolidations and intercompany transactions.· Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
