Job Summary: The IT Infrastructure Operations Manager is responsible for the effective delivery, maintenance, and support of the organization's IT infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networks, and cloud systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of IT services and leads a team of engineers and support staff to manage day-to-day infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance Oversee the operation and maintenance of all IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, backups, etc.). Ensure uptime, reliability, and performance of critical systems and applications. Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues or bottlenecks. Team Leadership & Vendor Management Manage a team of infrastructure engineers, network administrators, and support personnel. Oversee daily operations, workload distribution, and staff development. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for infrastructure services, hardware/software maintenance, and escalations. Project Implementation & Change Management Lead or support IT infrastructure-related projects (upgrades, migrations, rollouts, etc.). Coordinate with internal stakeholders for infrastructure requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure adherence to change management and deployment protocols. Security & Compliance Implement and enforce IT security policies across infrastructure components. Work closely with IT Security and Compliance teams to ensure infrastructure adheres to regulatory and audit requirements. Ensure proper disaster recovery and business continuity measures are in place. Budgeting & Cost Management Assist in planning and managing the infrastructure budget (hardware, software, licensing, maintenance).
