Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for driving and overseeing the organization's revenue-generating activities, including sales, marketing, and account management. This strategic leader will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute strategies aimed at maximizing revenue growth, expanding market share, and improving client acquisition and retention. The CRO will lead cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of sales and marketing initiatives with long-term business objectives while managing both new client acquisition and existing client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Strategy & ExecutionOversee the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with revenue targets, market positioning, and growth initiatives.Hold regular meetings to review team progress and adjust strategies as needed.Collaborate with Finance Controller and Project Management to ensure proper implementation of Early Warning Signs (EWS) processes and seamless data tracking.Work with the CEO to maintain the 52-week sales pipeline aligned with long-term revenue targets.Oversee lead generation activities and ensure they align with revenue targets.Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts in collaboration with the COO.Establish and nurture client relationships to inform account management plans.Track and communicate client feedback for continuous improvement and satisfaction.Collaborate with executive leadership to set and monitor KPIs.Continuously refine strategies to optimize revenue-driving performance.Sales Leadership & Account ManagementLead and manage the sales team, including new business development, lead generation, and account expansion.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings for coaching and performance review.Provide clear targets, priorities, and actionable strategies.Track KPIs such as lead conversion, pipeline growth, and revenue.Identify skill gaps and provide training in prospecting, negotiation, and relationship management.Collaborate on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.Oversee Client Services to ensure exceptional service delivery and retention.Collaborate with COO and Sales on account growth strategies, using data-driven analysis and strategic planning.Drive client-centric sales strategies and ensure seamless handoffs between sales, account management, and client success teams.Marketing & Brand StrategyPartner with Marketing to develop and execute 52-week campaigns for brand awareness, lead generation, and demand creation.Align marketing initiatives with sales objectives.Oversee digital marketing (content, PR, acquisition campaigns) and measure ROI.Refine targeting, positioning, and messaging based on market trends and client data.Revenue Forecasting & Financial OversightLead revenue forecasting model development and track progress against targets.Use data to assess team performance (win rates, deal sizes, cycle lengths).Collaborate with Finance on revenue budgets, cost control, and growth.Provide regular updates to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.Innovation & Market ExpansionStay ahead of industry trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities.Evaluate new markets, business models, and partnerships.Scale sales and marketing strategies to match company growth.Qualifications10+ years of senior leadership or executive experience in revenue generation, sales management, and marketing strategy.Strong background in sales, account management, and client retention.Proven ability to scale revenue-generating teams across multiple functions.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication skills for engaging internal teams and external partners.CompetenciesStrategic Revenue Leadership - Ability to develop and execute revenue strategies aligned with business goals.Sales & Account Management Expertise - Skilled in leading teams, client acquisition, and account expansion.Marketing Leadership - Experienced in aligning marketing with sales to drive growth.Client-Centric - Focused on delivering exceptional client experiences.Financial Acumen - Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting.Data-Driven Decision Making - Uses analytics for strategic planning.Change Management - Leads teams through organizational shifts.Innovation - Continuously seeks new opportunities and optimization.
