Position Summary We are looking for a strategic and driven Group CFO to lead the financial opening. This is a senior leadership position, ideal for someone with a deep understanding of hospitality finance, project financing, and the ability to translate financial data into high-impact business decisions. The Group CFO will oversee financial performance, manage the pre-opening and rollout finances of Sabai, and build a scalable framework to support the group's upcoming growth. They will work closely with the founders and board, ensuring decisions are financially sound, operationally efficient, and geared toward long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities Strategic Finance & Board Engagement Oversee all financial activities across current and future restaurants, starting with Uma Nota and Sabai. Present timely, clear, and actionable financial reports to the Board of Directors. Make high-level recommendations on cost control, revenue optimization, and EBITDA growth. Align financial planning with broader business strategy and expansion goals. Project Financing & Growth Lead the financial planning and modeling for new restaurant launches, including Sabai's pre-opening phase. Support capital raising strategies, including debt and equity financing for future projects. Collaborate on investment strategies, site feasibility studies, and ROI assessments. Structure and analyze potential partnerships, joint ventures, or franchise agreements. Operations & Financial Oversight Manage the day-to-day finance team: a General Accountant and two Junior Finance Associates. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and risk management. Implement zero-based budgeting and internal controls across the group. Develop real-time dashboards and outlet-level KPIs to drive operational decision-making. Ideal Candidate Profile 8-12+ years of senior finance experience, preferably in hospitality, F&B, or multi-unit consumer businesses. Strong background in project financing and supporting new venue rollouts. Hands-on experience working with board-level executives and presenting financial strategy. Deep knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, tax compliance, and audit practices. Analytical and commercially minded with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex financial data for stakeholders. Proactive, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented.
