- Build and nurture long-term relationships with assigned key accounts in the building automation sector.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and pain points to propose customized solutions that align with our products and services.
- Drive the attainment of revenue targets and sales goals for assigned key accounts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new building automation solutions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide holistic solutions that address client requirements.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of building automation systems, controls, and IoT technologies.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to clients, aligning solutions with their specific needs.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable for both clients and the company.
- Oversee contract renewals and modifications to sustain long-term partnerships.
- Stay updated with trends and advancements in building automation, smart technologies, and energy efficiency.
- Utilize industry insights to provide valuable feedback for product development and improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate internally with sales, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Monitor and report key account metrics, sales performance, and progress against targets.
- Provide regular updates to management on account status, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction by delivering timely responses and exceptional service.
- Proactively manage concerns or escalations to maintain positive and productive client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Electronic Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the building automation industry.
- Profound knowledge of building automation systems, controls, and related technologies.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed revenue targets and drive business expansion.
- Strategic thinker with the capability to identify growth opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM software, technical documentation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required to engage with key clients.
- You have at least 1 year of experience in an Account Management / Sales Development Representative role, ideally within the Electronics, and IT Services industry.
- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You possess excellent communication and business-facing skills, are organized and able to multi-task effectively.
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
