This role is central to maintaining seamless materials acquisition and availability for multiple concurrent jobs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in purchasing best practices, inventory systems, and vendor negotiations, and can operate confidently in a project-driven environment. This position reports to the Operations Manager and will also support the company's ERP evolution.Benefits and Compensation:

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or rental environmentsStrong understanding of P2P (procure-to-pay) workflows and procurement best practicesExcellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skillsAnalytical mindset with strong skills in forecasting and inventory planningEffective communication and collaboration across teamsProven ability to lead or mentor junior purchasing staffPreferred Experience:Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 or Business Central is preferred but not requiredExperience with equipment kits, calibration schedules, or complex inventory structuresFamiliarity with ERP transitions or system upgradesExperience working closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teamsKey Responsibilities:Procurement OperationsOversee the full procure-to-pay lifecycle, including purchase orders, vendor negotiations, and approvalsBuild and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing, terms, and credit limitsLead vendor assessments and performance reviews to improve purchasing efficiencyInventory & Equipment ManagementManage equipment hierarchies, kits, and calibration dependencies to maintain accurate and timely inventory availabilityUse ERP data to drive improvements in inventory planning and forecastingSupport preparation for future ERP upgrades or migrationsTeam Leadership & CollaborationLead and mentor a team of 1–2 purchasing assistants, ensuring accountability and developmentCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance (AP), and Field Operations teams to ensure smooth procurement workflowsPromote consistency and best practices across purchasing activitiesIf you are a strategic and hands-on procurement leader who thrives in fast-paced, operational environments, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on a growing company’s purchasing and supply chain strategy.Powered by JazzHR
