1. Policy Formulation, Update, and Implementation
  • Develop, recommend, and update HR policies to align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Ensure policies are fair, compliant, and effective in addressing organizational needs.
  • Communicate policy changes across the organization to ensure proper understanding and adherence.
  • Collaborate with departments to resolve policy-related concerns and provide ongoing support.
2. Talent Acquisition
  • Create and implement hiring strategies aligned with future workforce needs.
  • Review and approve recruitment requests, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct interviews and approve progression of senior candidates through the recruitment process.
  • Negotiate job offers for key positions, ensuring clarity and alignment with company expectations.
3. Employee Engagement
  • Design and implement employee engagement programs to enhance retention and satisfaction.
  • Manage pre-hire training and professional development agreements for new hires.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement programs across the organization.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture through activities and initiatives that promote employee well-being.
4. Employee Relations
  • Manage disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution impartially.
  • Advise managers and supervisors on handling employee performance and behavior issues.
  • Approve Notices to Explain and Notices of Decision, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Review and update company rules and regulations to ensure alignment with current laws and policies.
5. Performance Management
  • Oversee the performance management cycle, including goal setting, evaluations, and rewards.
  • Identify performance issues, root causes, and implement development plans.
  • Facilitate performance evaluation discussions and provide feedback for employee growth.
  • Approve performance incentives and performance improvement plans for employees.
6. Compensation & Benefits
  • Review and adjust compensation structures to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.
  • Negotiate with providers for benefits renewals and resolve escalated claims.
  • Approve payroll adjustments and employee government loan requests.
  • Recommend compensation strategies based on market trends and organizational needs.
7. Team Management
  • Set clear departmental goals and monitor team progress toward these goals.
  • Supervise daily operations and provide ongoing support and feedback to the team.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs and ensure efficient execution of tasks.
  • Coach and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and development.
