Role Description The Accounting Associate - Loans plays a critical role in managing the financial operations related to loan portfolios. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records of loan disbursements, payments, interest computations, and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant financial regulations. ???? Key Responsibilities Maintain and update loan schedules, amortization tables, and repayment plans Monitor loan disbursements, interest accruals, and payment collections Ensure timely posting of loan transactions to the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers Reconcile loan-related accounts monthly and investigate discrepancies Prepare loan summary reports for internal and external stakeholders Assist in internal and external audits concerning loan accounts Collaborate with the HR and Legal teams on loan-related matters involving employees or vendors Evaluate loan contracts and verify financial provisions before encoding Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts involving loan interest income and expense Ensure compliance with loan policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements ???? Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field At least 1 year of experience in accounting or loan administration Strong understanding of Philippine financial regulations and loan documentation Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities CPA license is an advantage but not required ????
