Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our property portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring they meet GAAP standards. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. Analyze property financial performance, identifying trends and variances to drive strategic decisions. Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Assist in budget and forecast preparation, providing valuable insights and recommendations. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. Support external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Prepare CAM Reconciliations and calculations. Prepare Distribution calculations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work onsite and on a fixed night shift .
