Purpose & Scope Generate leads through all channels and build a pipeline to meet targets Roles & Responsibilities Actively follow up leads, organize site visits, prepare preliminary project assessments and proposals to develop pipeline projects Take charge of submission of bids for any tenders (e.g. GEAP) Lead and coordinate end-to-end deal execution process including origination, solution design, financial modelling, proposal and commercial structuring, bid preparation, PPA/EPC negotiation and project financing Engage and align external/internal cross functional stakeholders to achieve certain outcomes Prepare management papers for opportunity assessment, reporting, investment approvals, and joint venture steering committee meetings. Qualifications & Experiences Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in energy/ renewables sector preferably in Business Development/ Commercial related roles Good understanding of regulatory framework and electricity market in the Philippines, PPA/RSC with DUs/contestable customers, as well as the risks and value drivers in renewable energy projects Demonstrated ability in successfully working with cross-functional teams including technical groups, accounting functions, and project development. Strong written and verbal communication skills Experienced in financial modelling Behaviors/ Traits Commercial focus, results oriented with excellent communications skills Creative, persistent, and outgoing personality, with a keen eye for details Proactive, positive, and self-motivated with ability to work without close supervision Strong competency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint, VBA experience is advantageous Established network of contacts in the Philippine renewable energy sector Our Culture at Sembcorp At Sembcorp, our culture is shaped by a strong set of shared behaviors that guide the way we work and uphold our commitment to driving the energy transition.
