Description: As a purchasing assistant, your responsibilities would typically revolve around managing the procurement process for various materials and supplies essential for the printing operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Source suppliers for ink, paper, printing equipment, and other materials required for color printing. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company. Generate purchase orders, track shipments, and coordinate delivery schedules to meet production needs. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure client needs are met effectively. Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure purchased materials meet required specifications and quality standards. Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement in the procurement process. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. Assist in the development and management of the procurement budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost containment strategies. Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency through automation or process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the printing or manufacturing industry. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software preferred. Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct cost analysis and identify areas for improvement.
