Lead Stakeholder Collaboration: Run workshops with business, compliance, and technical teams to unpack complex problems and drive alignment on solution approaches.
Own the Backlog: Define, refine, and prioritise user stories with strong acceptance criteria, ensuring engineering teams have the clarity needed to execute efficiently.
Act as the Technical Translator: Leverage your understanding of APIs and data flows to seamlessly connect product intent with engineering implementation.
Support Delivery Excellence: Work closely with development teams throughout sprints, clarifying requirements, removing ambiguity, and supporting smooth, successful releases.

Key Criteria

5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment
Strong background in fintech, ideally with expertise in FX, payments, or compliance
Solid understanding of APIs, data mapping, and system integrations
Familiarity with cloud-based, serverless architectures is a plus
Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies (backlog refinement, user story writing, agile ceremonies)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong interest in leveraging AI tools to improve work and processes

Work Set UpWork setup & hours may vary by location in accordance with local norms, practices & policies.

Manila (BGC, Taguig): In this role, you are required to work 3 days onsite in BGC and 2 days WFH in the first month. After one month, the role is fully remote, with regular hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Manila time (aligned with Australian business hours).
