Electrical Senior Expert (Renewable Energy)

• The Senior Electrical Expert is responsible for conducting electrical safety testing and design assessments both at TÜV SÜD facilities and customer sites. The role involves performing inspections based on local rules and regulations, with the focus on functional system performance and the documentation of quality and safety related findings in an independent third-party report and identifying compliance issues, ensuring products and systems meet relevant safety standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and teams to ensure high-quality, compliance, and safe electrical solutions.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert technical advice and lead certification, testing, and compliance assessments for electrical systems across the Renewable Energy Industries in the Philippines and Vietnam.
• Manage and coordinate projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections, quality assurance, and risk assessments to ensure electrical safety and reliability.
• Support business development through client engagement, proposal preparation, and technical presentations.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate globally within TÜV SÜD's network to deliver consistent, high-quality services.
• Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong background in electrical systems, functional safety, or EMC testing, depending on specialization.
• Proven working experience in the Renewable Energy Sector (i.e. Wind and Solar)
• Proficiency in electrical system design, testing, compliance, and risk assessment.
• Strong ability to analyze complex systems, perform risk assessments, and ensure safety compliance.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical reporting, client interaction, and team collaboration.
