When the QA personnel in the assignment in question is assigned to do jobs of higher priority.The Assistant QA Manager shall participate as core group member in any of the company's Integrated ProgramsThe Assistant QA Manager shall be a member of QIT within the department and may be nominated to be a member of a cross-functional project team.The Assistant QA Manager shall participate in company programs and actively participate in meetings and discussions and come up with suggestions for improvement in the areas of quality, efficiency, productivity, security and safety, sanitation and food safety, environment, waste reduction, sustainability, social responsibility and risk management.The Assistant QA Manager shall assume a prominent role in the implementation and maintenance of systems such as ISO, Risk Management, 5S/GMP/HACCP and Halal.The Assistant QA Manager may be assigned to other related tasks as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.SAP Support and TroubleshootingEnsure the accurate and real-time execution of tasks related to the process/es they are responsible for, including the recording of information and report generation in the designated forms and platforms (e.g. SAP).Integrate with other parties/ functions whose processes are interfaced with their processes (to enable alignment, efficient flow of the process, and effective implementation of controls).For detailed SAP-related tasks, please refer to the SAP RACIFOOD SAFETY:Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.OTHER TASKS:Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.Qualifications
- Licensed Chemist (as required in the Chemistry Law - IRR Rule X Section 46.2 ; IRR Rule XI Section 56)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; adept at translating end-user sensory perceptions and product experience into objective analytical and numerical test results. Competent in the application of Design of Experiments (DoE) for product and process optimization.
- Wide experience in equipment calibration and sensory analysis.
- Preferably with training in equipment calibration, ISO 17025, measurement uncertainties, SPC, and Gauge R&R.
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams; a good team player who can collaborate and influence.
- Results-driven with a proactive mindset in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for clear reporting and effective coordination across departments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in ensuring compliance with quality standards.
