Financial Controller Location: IT Park Cebu (Onsite for first month, then hybrid) Shift: Dayshift, Fixed Weekends Off Start Date: ASAP Work Type: Full-time, replacement hire (approved) About the Role As the Financial Controller, you'll plan, design, and implement robust accounting and financial control systems across PH and AU entities. You'll work closely with our CEO, PH Lead, and department heads to craft strategies that keep our finances strong and scalable. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting, reporting, and internal controls to ensure cash flow stability. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for PH and AU entities. Develop budgets, forecasts, and risk analyses. Manage tax payments and compliance in coordination with in-house accountant. Analyse financial trends and recommend strategic actions. Lead and mentor a finance team of 5, including the Accounting Manager. Partner with leadership to align financial strategy with business goals. Must-Have Qualifications At least 2 years as Financial Controller (or equivalent) in a foreign-owned , shared services , or outsourcing environment. Minimum 10 years' total Finance & Accounting experience. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Strong proficiency in MS Office and accounting tools (Xero, SAP, or similar). Willing to work onsite in Cebu or Davao (VISMIN applicants only). Not from a purely consulting background. Good-to-Have CPA designation. Experience in budgeting, costing, salary analysis, and financial modelling. Exposure to process automation & improvement. Fewer than 6 employers in the last 10 years.
