- Business Planning: Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and market penetration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Channel and Ecosystem Development: Identify and qualify new business channels, building strategic collaboration with financial institutions, horizontal developers, and other verticals to build an ecosystem in which the company can thrive.
- Account Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and relevant industry partners. Maximize cross-selling opportunities and tactical collaboration.
- Proposal Development: Work closely with the operations, marketing, legal and finance teams to create customized proposals that address the unique needs of each channel and preserve the best interests of the company.
- Reporting and Storytelling: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of business development strategies. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities. Paint a clear picture of challenges, progress and opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years experience with proven track record of success in sales or business development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as required with stakeholder management skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
