Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly & Test (OSAT) operations? We're looking for a dynamic Staff Specialist in Operation Planning & Controlling to drive capacity planning across our global network of 50+ production partnersJob Description
In your new role you will:
  • Manage subcontractors with regards to forecasting, demand commitment, securing capacity, and material liability.
  • Cascade planning deliverables to subcontractors located globally to meet Infineon's Customer demand.
  • Communication and Commitment: Manage internal and external communication and drive commitment of customer demand in alignment globally with Business Divisions.
  • Support enabling of new subcon sites according to IFX supply chain process and requirement.
  • Ensure implementation of approved strategic plan as well as in alignment with all internal stakeholders.
  • Accountable for accurate and timely update of capacity commit to customer demand plan in system.
  • Drive demand split between subcontractors considering contractual agreement and suppliers' relationship.
  • Manages SiFO demand plan for subcontractors with bump and sort content in OSAT subcontractors.
  • Responsible for material liability management at subcontractors affecting segment cost position.
  • Support implementation of planning process optimization in 2 aspects: alignment with BE OPC and engagement with subcontractors.
  • Undertake cross-functional projects.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical course such as Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Math, Material Science, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Min 5 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry with adequate exposure in process planning and/or business planning as well as other areas like operations.
  • Systemic approach and 8D management compulsory.
  • Knowledge of assembly and test operations, logistics, and materials planning.
  • Analytical, excellent planning, and delivery skills.
  • Operational skillsets, including assembly knowledge and test knowledge (testers platform, tester computation, test hardware) is a must.
  • Cross-functional role, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective writing and communication skills and able to interact with all levels.
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with different international companies.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with logically planning thinking processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
