Job Overview We are looking for System Administrator to lead our Microsoft 365 projects and maintain/optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure. This role combines expertise in Microsoft 365 administration with hands-on AWS system management, ensuring seamless integration, security, and reliability across both platforms. Key Responsibilities 1. Microsoft 365 Administration Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Defender, and Purview. Configure user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Microsoft 365 environment. Monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and implement configurations to enhance performance. Enforce security measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and encryption. Collaborate with stakeholders to align Microsoft 365 solutions with business needs. 2. AWS System Management Administer and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFormation. Monitor AWS resources , ensuring cost-efficiency, scalability, and high availability. Maintain current security best practices and compliance standards. Manage backup and disaster recovery. 3. Technical Support & Collaboration Provide advanced support for hardware, software, network, and cloud-related issues. Resolve escalated support tickets and collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely solutions. Maintain documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting, and AWS/Microsoft 365 integrations. Monitor and troubleshoot third-party services integrated with AWS or Microsoft 365. 4. System Administration Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments. Manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions. Perform system health checks, maintenance, and asset management. 5. Continuous Improvement Stay updated on emerging trends in Microsoft 365, AWS, and DevOps tools. Identify automation opportunities (e.g., PowerShell, Python, AWS Lambda) to enhance system reliability. Lead IT projects, including cloud migrations, system upgrades, and hybrid environment optimizations. Qualifications: Proven experience in system administration of at least 5 years. 3+ years managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch). Strong proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Defender and OneDrive for Business. Knowledge of server operating systems, virtualization technologies, and networking concepts. Work experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux based environments. Experience with monitoring systems Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
