Role Summary The Import Export Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of import and export shipments. This role ensures compliance with customs regulations, timely document processing, and efficient collaboration with freight forwarders, brokers, and warehouse teams. The position is critical in maintaining supply chain visibility and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from origin to destination. Key Responsibilities Monitor incoming shipments from origin to distribution center, ensuring supply chain visibility and timely delivery. Review and validate shipping and customs documents (commercial invoice, packing list, HS codes, PO numbers, etc.) for accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper customs clearance. Track and update shipment statuses (arrivals, amendments, deliveries) and provide regular reports to management. Arrange bookings with nominated forwarders for both imports and exports, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met. Manage delivery scheduling with warehouses and logistics partners to meet cut-off times and delivery requirements. Support special shipments (e.g., marketing or intercompany shipments) by facilitating bookings, document checks, and customs requirements. Prepare and maintain import/export documentation in compliance with Bureau of Customs (BOC) requirements. Verify invoices from service providers (brokers, forwarders, couriers, etc.) before submitting them for payment approval. Respond to inquiries on import/export requirements, HS codes, and customs processes. Job Requirements Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, International Business, or related field. 3 - 5 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding. Strong knowledge of Philippine customs regulations and documentation requirements. Proficiency in shipment tracking, documentation, and reporting. Hands-on experience working with brokers, freight forwarders, and warehouse operations. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and stakeholders under tight deadlines. Problem-solving and proactive follow-up abilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Work Arrangement Onsite in Para aque City. Regular coordination with logistics partners and warehouse teams.
