Pay Structure: Initially commission-based: $ per qualified live call + % of closed deals. Maturing to salary with good performance.At Reef, we place high-performing offshore sales teams into businesses across Australia and New Zealand - helping them scale for 60-70% less than hiring locally. We manage the entire process: sourcing, payroll, ongoing performance management, and unlimited replacements if needed.We're hiring our first Sales Development Representative to launch and scale Reef's outbound sales engine. This is a hands-on, builder role where you'll:
- Optimise our appointment setting process
- Document and refine outreach systems
- Book high-quality calls with founders and decision-makers in service-based B2B companies
- Prepare for a future step-up into onboarding and managing new sales hires
- Own outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, cold calling, and email to founders, CEOs, and hiring decision-makers
- Book qualified live calls for Reef's founders using a consultative, problem-led approach
- Build and document outreach playbooks, scripts, and objection-handling guides
- Track and report KPIs in our CRM (GoHighLevel)
- Work closely with the founder to refine messaging and targeting
- Help onboard and train new appointment setters as the team grows
- Minimum 3 years' experience delivering results in recruitment, staffing, BPO, or outsourcing sales
- Track record of generating leads and booking appointments with senior decision-makers
- Skilled with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRMs, and outbound automation tools
- Strong cold calling experience - confident handling gatekeepers and objections
- Excellent written and spoken English for professional client communication
- Self-starter mindset - comfortable building processes and working without a pre-set playbook
- Comfortable starting with a commission-based trial tied to qualified appointments and closed deals
