About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated IT Operations Specialist with a primary focus on ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal communication skills, a proactive and can-do attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding support to internal stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying hardware to new employees, coordinating with vendors, managing IT asset inventory, and ensuring seamless operations within our IT infrastructure. What You'll Do 1. Customer Satisfaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Continuously monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction levels. 2. Hardware Deployment: Facilitate the setup and deployment of hardware (e.g., computers, peripherals) for new employees, ensuring all necessary software and configurations are in place. Coordinate with HR and other relevant departments to streamline the onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition for new hires. 3. Vendor Coordination: Act as the liaison between the company and external vendors, managing relationships and ensuring timely delivery of services and products. Coordinate with vendors to address warranty issues, facilitate repairs or replacements, and maintain accurate records of warranty agreements. 4. IT Asset Inventory: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Conduct regular audits to track asset utilization, identify discrepancies, and recommend optimization strategies. 5. Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams for resolution. Collaborate with IT colleagues to implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as needed. What You Bring Bachelor&aposs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in providing IT operations support for onsite employees Proven experience in IT operations, with a focus on customer satisfaction and hardware deployment. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating warranty support. Proficiency in IT asset management tools and techniques. A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects to completion.
