Youve got a sharp eye for details and know that clean books and timely updates are the foundation of any well-run business. You're already confident working in Zoho Books, and whether it's reconciling accounts or tagging receipts, you thrive on bringing order to financial data.You work well independently, enjoy clear processes, and dont need someone breathing down your neck to stay on track. If youve worked with startups or agencies before and handled multiple accounts at once, youll feel right at home here.Location & ScheduleIdeally based in the Philippines, India, or South AfricaFull-time commitmentWorking hours aligned with UAE business hoursFully remote positionKey ResponsibilitiesClient Updates & EngagementSend monthly bookkeeping status updates to clients (e.g., Your records are up to date until June 30).Follow up on missing or overdue documentation via email.Escalate unresponsive clients after 2 months to the Client Engagement Manager.Zoho Books & File MaintenanceEnsure all invoices and documents are uploaded and properly categorized in Zoho Books.Maintain an organized Google Drive folder structure with monthly financial documentation per client.Cross-check that all required documentation (bank statements, invoices) has been received.Accounts Receivable (Internal Vyssor)Monitor Vyssors client aging reports in Zoho Books.Follow up on overdue payments using pre-written email templates.Record and reconcile incoming payments with quotations and invoices.Data Entry & BookkeepingInput incoming invoices, receipts, and bank transactions into Zoho Books.Match receipts to correct categories and payment methods.Tag all entries accurately to the corresponding client or project.Financial Reporting Support
  • Download and compile monthly reports:
Profit & LossExpense breakdownsOutstanding receivablesCashflow insightsSubmit reports to the Senior Accountant and CEO by the 3rd of each month.Flag discrepancies (e.g., revenue drops, unusual expenses) as needed.Process & Tools OptimizationUse and help improve email templates and follow-up systems.Maintain a task calendar (e.g., Zoho CRM or Projects) to meet all client deadlines.Collaboration & EscalationAssist the Senior Accountant in tax prep and internal financial reviews.Escalate unclear or complex documents for senior review.Log non-accounting support requests to Zoho Desk.Requirements1+ year experience in accounting or data entry (remote experience preferred)Strong proficiency in Zoho Books (must-have)Understanding of Accounts Receivable and reconciliation workflowsGood written English and professional communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailOrganized, autonomous, and dependableBonus: Experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, Zoho Desk, or multi-currency setupsOpportunities & BenefitsJoin a fast-growing international team working at the intersection of entrepreneurship and financeFull autonomy, minimal meetings, and maximum claritySalary: contractor pay of around $1,000/monthWork remotely from anywhere in a friendly and focused teamLong-term opportunity with room to growNot for you if:
