Job Summary: This role involves hands-on development across the full software lifecycle, contributing to high impact platforms and services that support key business functions. The engineer will work within a cross-functional team, collaborating with product, architects, and fellow developers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high quality, scalable, and secure applications using C# and the .NET framework. Build and support cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, including use of Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Kubernetes (AKS). Implement event-driven and distributed systems leveraging technologies like Kafka and Azure messaging services. Write effi cient and maintainable SQL queries and optimize performance in MSSQL and PostgreSQL environments. Participate in and contribute to architectural decisions, system design, and code reviews to ensure best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and QA to deliver high impact solutions. Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence. Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance through automated testing and CI/CD practices. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments. Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements to tools, processes, and system design Job Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems using C# and the .NET framework. Proven experience in designing and building solutions in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Service Bus, and Event Hubs. Solid experience working with relational databases, particularly MSSQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and managing schema changes. Experience implementing event-driven architectures and integrating with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms. Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and deploying microservices in Kubernetes environments. Demonstrated ability to work across the full software development lifecycle in agile, cross-functional teams. Exposure to PostgreSQL, AWS, and basic Java is advantageous. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices, including unit testing and CI/CD workflows.
