Undertake technical design work and design checking for projects in accordance with the Company System, as appropriate to the organization of each particular project, to meet project specific time and quality targets. Undertake independent studies and analysis; preparing recommendations and conclusion for formal reviews of lead engineers/project managers. Storm, surface water drainage designs for concept, preliminary and detailed studies relating to Urban Development projects. Prepare and deliver hydrological studies relating to Urban Development projects. Preparation of design drawings, calculations, scheme evaluations and design reports; Works towards the continuous improvement of the department section by utilizing effective and standardized calculation system and other design tools Provide direction, supervision and mentoring to more junior staff, Professional development of CAD, graduate engineers and engineers; Coordination with associated disciplines to ensure that interfaces have been considered and designed; Licensed Civil Engineer Minimum of 8 years' experience in a consulting company Experience of working on overseas projects is preferred. Proficiency in InfoDrainage or other related drainage software is required. Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software (e.g. Pipe Network, Part Builder, Pipe Catalog, surface, etc.) is required. Proficiency in pressurize pipe system is preferred. Knowledgeable of the design of pumps, basins, storage/tanks, and other related civil works. Knowledgeable in flood modelling and flood risk assessments. Excellent mathematical skills applied in engineering calculations. Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams and Outlook is required. Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally Maintains a proactive approach to assisting/ guiding team members. Displays an ability to work independently or with minimum supervision Ability to prepare and conduct presentation. Work effectively under pressure.
