Your Role And Responsibilities As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys. Your Primary Responsibilities Include Translating graphic visual and interactive designs into the presentation layer for highly interactive web and mobile applications using responsive design and development techniques. Developing prototypes and performing hands-on coding to develop and integrate the application user interface, leveraging technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript and associated frameworks, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Dojo, and various APIs. Required Technical And Professional Expertise Exposure to Front-End Development: Familiarity with translating visual and interactive designs into functional web and mobile applications using responsive design and development techniques. Hands-on Coding Experience: Experience working with programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, and associated frameworks to create functional and interactive application interfaces. Knowledge of Web Technologies: Understanding of technologies like CSS3, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, and Dojo, and their application in front-end development. Experience with Responsive Design: Exposure to applying responsive design techniques to ensure seamless user experiences across various devices and platforms. Familiarity with APIs and Frameworks: Basic understanding of integrating various APIs and frameworks to enhance application functionality and performance. Must have skills: HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+), responsive design, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA + JIS X 8341-3), performance optimization, testing. Framework-Specific: React (preferred), Angular, or Vue; state management (Redux, Zustand, NgRx, Vuex); TypeScript. N5 and above Amenable to work on a client dictated shift (day, mid, night) and open to work in any of IBM locations (Quezon City or Cebu).
