The JIRA Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence, to support project delivery and operational efficiency. This role works closely with teams to configure workflows, integrate tools, and ensure system stability.Responsibilities:
  • Configure and customize JIRA and Confluence to meet project and team needs.
  • Develop workflows, dashboards, and automation rules to streamline processes.
  • Integrate Atlassian tools with external systems like Salesforce.
  • Set up and manage Jira Service Management for ITSM processes.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Stay updated with Atlassian best practices and implement new features.
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4 years of experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Atlassian products.
  • Experience creating custom workflows, fields, and permission schemes.
  • Familiarity with Jira Service Management and ITSM processes.
  • Understanding of system integration with platforms like Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in JQL for advanced search and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills and experience training users.
  • Atlassian certifications are a plus.
