
IT Applications Specialist for Atlassian Jira & Confluence

- Administer, configure, and maintain Atlassian Jira and Confluence instances to meet the organization's software development and project management requirements, especially in the context of Agile SW development
- Develop, roll out and maintain solutions for Atlassian Jira and Confluence to allow our Engineering applications to be operated in the most effective and performant way
- Develop, roll out and maintain architectures following the A IT EA and Conti standards for Service and Application Architecture
- Customize and extend tool functionalities using basic programming skills to align with specific project needs
- Support integrations between various IT applications and tools, enabling seamless data flow and effective automation
- Monitor system performance, identify, troubleshoot issues, and apply necessary updates and patches to ensure optimal tool functionality
- Apply Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, Lean principles, and ITIL processes to foster effective software development practices
- Actively participate in IT projects, related IT Services, providing technical expertise, and promoting adherence to Agile and Scrum principles
- Provide excellent technical support to end-users, assisting with tool-related inquiries and troubleshooting application-related issues promptly.
- Good English language skills spoken and written (German is a plus)
- Experience in administering Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and Lean principles
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and their application in IT project management
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) to customize and extend tool functionalities
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles and version control practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams with strong customer focus
- Previous customer service experience in an IT or technical support role
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
