Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Geologist - Hydrogeology who will carry-out routinary works and projects in support with operational requirements and ensure all water accounts follow national and international frameworks. The role also requires provision of support to Project Geologist - Hydrogeology in ensuring execution of planned hydrogeological projects are within the specified timeframe, budget, and in accordance with relevant legislations. The role will report to the Senior Geologist - Hydrogeology.Key tasks and responsibilities:

Provides constructive feedback to individuals, focusing on strengths and areas for improvement, and helps them develop strategies for growth
Monitors progress, identifies and addresses any misalignments or obstacles to goal achievement
Facilitates learning opportunities and supports individuals in acquiring new knowledge and skills
Gathers and analyses relevant information to inform decision-making
Develops and implements talent development strategies, identifying high-potential individuals and providing opportunities for growth and advancement

QualificationsBehaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold WayLicensed Geologist * Driver's LicenseBachelor's degree in Geology or other relevant discipline1-2 years of related work experience in mining industry, with demonstrable academic or job experience in hydrogeologic data collection and analysisExperience in best practices related to groundwater and surface water managementProficient in 3D software packages (Leapfrog, Surpac, Deswik, GMS, Acquire, etc.)in project management of hydrogeological programs including contractor managementin the hydrological weir, hydrogeological dataloggers, VWPs, grouting pumps, plugs and packers' installation, and equipmentin high-pressure grouting for uncontrolled water management * groundwater modelling approaches and applicationsAdditional InformationWHAT'S ON OFFER:
