This Vision is brought to life by our Values - Care, Respect, Integrity, Performance and Teamwork - which put our people, host communities, the environment and our stakeholders at the forefront of our decision-making.Check us out - www.oceanagold.comJob DescriptionOceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Geologist - Hydrogeology who will be responsible in carrying out hydrogeology activities and projects to support operational requirements, including ground and surface water monitoring and reporting, hydrogeological data management and analysis, uncontrolled underground water management, and support the Hydrogeology Supervisor. The role will be reporting to the Supervisor - Hydrogeology.Key tasks and responsibilities:

Conducts hydrogeological data collection, input, and data quality assurance/control including sampling, testing, and analysis
Familiarises with the installation and general maintenance of hydrogeological equipment and hydrological systems
Assists with the development, review, and implementation of the Inundation and Inrush Principal Hazard Management Plan (PHMP) and Water Management Plan
Reporting to stakeholders

Qualifications

Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way;
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Geology;
Licensed Geologist;
Previous experience in Open Pit or Underground Geology or Hydrogeology will be well-regarded;
Proficient in 3D software packages (Leapfrog, Modflow, Surpac, Deswik, Feflow, Aquifer Test Pro, QGIS, etc) will be well-regarded;
Should possess a strong drive for health and safety management;
With a valid Professional Driver's License; and
Drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
