The Lead, Country People Partner (CPP) plays a significant role as the connector between LSEG’s global People strategy and the in‑country colleague experience. You will partner with business leaders, People Function partners, and in‑country collaborators to anticipate talent needs, drive country-specific people strategies, enable change, and strengthen colleague engagement.This role requires deep understanding of the local context, an enterprise mentality, and the ability to influence senior leaders to deliver balanced people and performance outcomes in support of business priorities.ROLE SUMMARY:In this role, you will lead and implement the country People agenda, ensuring global initiatives resonate locally while crafting interventions that address country-specific needs. You will be a trusted advisor to leaders, guiding them through talent decisions, organizational changes, high‑impact development activities, and colleague engagement actions.
Success requires strategic agility, strong stakeholder management, analytical insight, and the ability to drive outcomes in a dynamic, matrixed environment.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Manage the delivery of people strategies at the country level, ensuring alignment with local and global business goals.​Support the localisation and execution of global People Function initiatives, collaborating with Centres of Excellence and People Partners to adapt programmes and plans within their country remit.​Provide insights and guidance on employment practices and compliance issues, advancing complex challenges to senior leadership when vital.​Manage local talent initiatives, including planning for employee engagement, leadership development and key retention efforts.​Facilitate organisational change processes within the country, driving adoption and alignment with global frameworks.​Ensures country compliance with people policies, local workforce laws, regulations and reporting, providing guidance as and when required.​WHAT YOU'LL BRING:Essential Skills & ExperienceAbility to articulate and implement, at a country level, a people strategy and roadmapDemonstrated capability in partnering and influencing senior business leaders.Deep understanding of local labour market, cultural context, and compliance frameworks.Excellent communication, consulting, and relationship‑building skills.Desirable SkillsAbility to interpret data, identify insights, and translate into strategic actions.Experience in large-scale change, M&A, or transformation.Background working with or within Centres of Expertise (Talent, Learning, ER, Reward, etc.).Expertise in talent planning, organizational effectiveness, and/or change management.Proven HR leadership experience in a matrixed, multinational environment.Leadership BehavioursEnterprise mindset, collaborative orientation, and role modelling of LSEG values.Strategic thinking combined with practical execution ability.Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity for others.High emotional intelligence and resilience.WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN:You will play a pivotal role in shaping the colleague experience and enabling business outcomes at country level.
