Our client, an innovation-driven pharmaceutical company with a presence across Specialty, Generics and OTC businesses, is in need of a Country HR Manager. The country HR manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end Human Resources agenda for Philippines, partnering closely with the country leadership team to drive business growth, organizational effectiveness and a strong people centric culture. The role ensures robust HR governance, talent readiness and alignment with regional and global HR strategies, while being deeply rooted in local market realities and statutory compliance. The client's office is located in BGC, Taguig and work arrangement is full work on site. Overall Job Responsibilities Develop & implement country level HR strategy aligned with Global/ Regional goals. Act as a strategic partner to the Country Manager and leadership team. Develop and execute effective sourcing efforts to ensure that all budgeted and planned positions are manned by competent people. Connect with employees through effective communication foster a positive workplace culture and engagement programs Create programs for organizational health and advise leadership on managing people issues and concerns Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions Ensure that the compensation and benefits for employees is at par with the competition, through benchmarking and development of strategic linkages. Oversee Payroll, benefits administration and incentives Design and recommend Country-specific retention interventions Coordinate the smooth conduct of performance management from KRA setting to monitoring of performance year-round, all the way to performance reviews. Undertake training Needs Analysis and ensuring all learning needs are met for the country. Design capability training journeys in support of growing the careers of high potential people Oversee HR processes, onboarding, HRIS, exits etc. Ensure that a succession planning and Individual Development Plan is in place for all critical positions and critical roles Ensure compliance with Philippines Labor laws and regulations. DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in management with specialization in Human Resources/ Psychology or similar field. Master's degree in human resources would be preferred. Experience Minimum 12 years of experience in Human Resources function, with at least 4 years' experience in leading the function for the Country/BU Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical) Good understanding of local pharmaceutical business is preferred Has worked in the following industries: pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer, manufacturing Strong business acumen Strong analytical and People skills High drive for results orientation Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to coach employees in the country on people related matters Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor laws Leadership and stakeholder management Behavioral Attributes Demonstrated team handling maturity, ability to inspire and drive team Retaining as appropriate, and fully leveraging the current team performance Persuasively gaining buy-in from all internal and external stakeholders Fast learner, open to change and ambiguity that comes with a fast-growing company is a dynamically changing environment Quick to translate strategy into actions
