Stay updated on industry regulations, coding guidelines, and best practices related to medical documentation and chart review. 8. Participate in audits and compliance reviews as needed to support organizational goals. 9. Document findings, actions taken, and recommendations in detailed reports for management review. 10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive medical information. Requirements: 1. Bacheloru0027s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field. 2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare quality assurance, medical coding, or clinical documentation improvement. 3. In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. 4. Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential preferred. 5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical documentation and coding guidelines. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 7. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare information management software. 8. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in documentation review. 9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
