Job Responsibilities . PARS for medications and procedures . Referral coordination to specialist . Record requests from hospitals or specialist . Give instructions to patients as instructed by Nurse Practitioner . Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patientsu0027 medical records prior to their appointment . Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls . Manage a high volume of patient visits . Patient Education Qualifications . Ability to work independently . Strong organizational skills . Excellent time management skills . Excellent customer service skills, including patience and flexibility . Strong written and verbal communication skills . Keen attention to detail Prior Experience .Describe the prior working experience a candidate should have. . Experienced Medical Assistant with preferred minimum of 2 years experience . Experience in mental health or primary care a plus .
