- Reporting Line Planning Manager
- Ensure timely ordering, placement, and confirmation of material requirements based on production schedules and business systems.
- Create Purchase Orders (POs) for inbound materials to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Interact with supply and production planners, vendors, and buyers daily to address material delivery issues.
- Utilize SAP ECC & APO modules for material call-off planning.
- Maintain and review stock levels to optimize cash flow and meet stock targets.
- Generate weekly MRP reports to analyse material availability and address shortages.
- Develop action plans for slow-moving stocks with technical teams to minimize stock write-offs.
- Evaluate vendors’ performance monthly, focusing on on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
- Address delays or availability issues with buyers and work towards resolutions.
- Oversee the end-to-end import process for all inbound materials from abroad.
- Review and analyse logistical requirements for import orders, including transportation and trade compliance.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and brokers to manage import requirements and ensure accurate transportation instructions.
- Obtain necessary import documentation and ensure compliance with Free Trade Agreements.
- Manage billing and invoice requirements, resolve disputes, and assist with accounts payable queries.
- Verify the accuracy of documentation for import shipments and correspond with government agencies for import permits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customs requirements, including maintaining accurate records for audits.
- Assist with special projects such as re-export, duty drawback, freight tenders, and commercialization.
- Update and analyse the import schedule tracker to maintain a cost-efficient process.
- Support the S&OP process and take necessary actions as assigned.
- Support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Food Safety audits as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning roles within Supply Chain, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Proficiency in ERP and MS Office applications; SAP experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong planning and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships and challenge decisions constructively.
- Solid business acumen and operational insight, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively across functions and levels
