We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with deep domain expertise in Core Banking Systems to lead the strategic design and modernization of enterprise architecture for a banking client undergoing a major core system upgrade. This role will be critical in shaping a scalable, secure, and future-ready banking ecosystem-driving digital transformation, system integration, and legacy modernization efforts. Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture Leadership Define and maintain the target enterprise architecture across application, data, integration, and technology domains. Align architecture blueprints with business strategy, focusing on digital banking, operational efficiency, and customer-centric innovation. Lead architectural reviews and governance to ensure architectural integrity and agility. Core Banking Modernization Provide expert guidance on core banking systems (e.g., T24, Flexcube, Finacle, Mambu, etc.), including evaluation, selection, and implementation. Assess legacy platforms and develop transformation plans that are robust, compliant, and cost-effective. Lead architecture for the upgrade or replatforming of core banking solutions. Technology Strategy & Integration Develop and maintain a multi-year enterprise architecture roadmap in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Design integration strategies with key enterprise systems: CRM, mobile banking, payments, loan origination, risk, and compliance. Ensure interoperability and data consistency across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. Governance & Compliance Define architectural principles, patterns, and reference models. Ensure adherence to data privacy, information security standards, and banking regulatory compliance (e.g., BSP, ISO, PCI-DSS). Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, project managers, product owners, and technical teams. Communicate architectural options, decisions, and trade-offs clearly to both business and technical stakeholders. Liaise with solution vendors and implementation partners to ensure alignment with architectural vision. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in enterprise architecture roles. Extensive experience in core banking modernization or transformation programs in banking or financial services. Strong familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or other EA frameworks. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), microservices, API gateways, and DevOps practices is an advantage. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
