- The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of pharmaceutical production, warehousing, logistics, and retail coordination.
- This role ensures compliance with Philippine FDA regulations, enhances operational efficiency, and supports cross-functional alignment to achieve business goals.
- Crucial experience in community pharmacy stores and franchise pharmacy companies is required to understand retail operations, regulatory compliance, and customer-facing processes.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities in pharmaceutical production, packaging, warehousing, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine FDA regulations (GMP, cGMP), including RA 3720 and RA 9711.
- Apply operational knowledge from retail pharmacy settings to streamline end-to-end supply and distribution.
- Collaborate with QA and QC teams to maintain compliance with DOH and FDA standards.
- Support regulatory audits and inspections, particularly those relevant to retail pharmacy operations.
- Identify inefficiencies across retail and manufacturing workflows and implement improvements.
- Apply Lean, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement tools to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouses and retail outlets (community and franchise pharmacies).
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and replenishment.
- Maintain and update SOPs, batch manufacturing records, and inventory documentation as required by FDA PH.
- Prepare and present operational performance reports, including KPI and incident summaries.
- Liaise with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Production Planning, Sales, and Marketing departments.
- Train and guide staff across production and retail locations on SOPs, regulatory updates, and safety protocols.
- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or other Life Sciences.
- Licensed Pharmacist is often preferred (especially in roles involving regulatory or quality compliance).
- Advantageous: MBA or certification in Operations or Supply Chain Management.
