Ensure strict compliance with all environmental and forestry-related legal/regulatory requirements, permitting, registrations, certifications, etc. Oversees implementation of environmental and forestry policies and programs (EWP, EPEP, etc.) in the company s area of responsibility, such as the biodiversity conservation management plan. Monitor and analyze the environmental performance of the project, in addition, to the coordination and/or correction of findings and actions to be taken by all concerned. Oversees studies and researchers to improve environmental and forestry practices, methods, and performance. Assists in formulating environmental protection and enhancement work programs incorporating the best and most innovative methods currently available, as well as providing the best scientific judgment and advice to the management on the viability of the project area; Establishes his/her team who will spearhead internal controls and operationalization of the department in delivering the best output for the environmental works, either by a third-party consultant or in-house-driven activities; Assists in preparing requirements that are in conformance with national and local policies, laws, rules, and regulations governing environmental protection and conservation works; Represents the company to the local community, site visitors, government agencies, and other entities concerning the project, for visitorial and audit purposes, as deemed necessary;
