Job Description Enterprise Data Stewards are highly motivated and detail-oriented professionals with a strong understanding of data product management. They play a crucial role in maintaining the quality, integrity, and usability of data assets across the organization. Their responsibilities include actively contributing to the development and management of data products that enhance business value. Enterprise Data Stewards ensure compliance with industry standards through a proactive approach to data governance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Data Stewardship: Maintain data governance standards and ensure compliance with data policies and regulations. Monitor data quality and integrity across multiple data sources, implementing corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and documentation for data assets. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and establish data definitions and standards. Act as a single point of contact assigned to business units and advises the business units to reuse existing data assets when applicable. Act as a liaison between data users and technical teams to facilitate data accessibility and usability. Aligns Business rules, definition and seeks concurrence across different business units when necessary Regularly reports in the Data Governance Council regarding data product initiatives of the bank Data Product Management: Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize data product features and enhancements based on user needs and business objectives. Develop product roadmaps and manage the lifecycle of data products from concept to launch and beyond. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the data product landscape. Gather and analyze feedback from users to continuously improve data products and ensure alignment with business goals. Monitor product performance and develop metrics to assess success and inform future development. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data management-related roles. Experience in data product management or a related field, with a track record of successfully managing data products. Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and best practices. Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with data visualization tools and data management platforms. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) related to data governance. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Understands Data Management concepts Can navigate to the data warehouse (using SQL) Understands Snowflake Snowsight environment (Preferred)
